COMPLETE FIRE SAFETY Pty. Ltd. is a Tasmanian owned and operated business that specialises in all aspects of Fire Safety and operates state wide.
Our offices, warehouse, equipment service centre and training rooms are located at 96a Derwent Park Road, Derwent Park (East), Tasmania.
The business started out as SAFE TASMANIA in 2000 when the owner Stephen Shaw retired from the Tasmania Fire Service after 19 years as an operational Fire Fighter and Fire Officer and 10 Years as a Training Instructor with TasFire Training at the Tasmania Fire Service training complex in Cambridge, Southern Tasmania.
In 2004 the name of the business was changed to COMPLETE FIRE SAFETY to better reflect the services that we provide regarding Fire Safety.
Fire safety is vitally important for all occupants in every domestic & commercial building because of all emergencies that do occur in buildings FIRE is the most common.
Our mission statement is:

Managing Director - Stephen Shaw
Stephen has over thirty years (30) experience in the Fire Fighting & Fire Safety Industry. Firstly as a Professional Fire Officer and Training Instructor with the Tasmania Fire Service and then as the Managing Director of Complete Fire Safety.
He has Certificate IV (TAE40110) in workplace training and assessment.
During his time as a full time Fire Fighter and Fire Officer he has been exposed to numerous life threatening situations where immediate evacuation of building occupants has been necessary.
Stephen was also engaged as a training instructor at TasFire Training, the Tasmania Fire Service Training Complex at Cambridge in Southern Tasmania where he conducted training courses for Breathing Apparatus, Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures, Emergency Response Teams, Fire Extinguishers, Confined Spaces, Hazardous Materials and Emergency Control Organisation Wardens.
Since commencing Complete Fire Safety Stephen has undertaken fire safety audits for many Tasmanian and Victorian businesses, developed and implemented their emergency procedures and conducted training courses for the Royal Hobart Hospital, Housing Tasmania as well as commercial businesses, Health Care facilities and Local & State Government Departments throughout Tasmania. With his "hands-on" approach Stephen is in a unique position to provide meaningful training programs for your business.

Jason has over 16 year’s sales experience in the property industry winning numerous awards for customer service and performance and also has 15 years trade experience.
Jason is easily contactable and brings a refreshing “can do” attitude to the fire safety industry.
Service & Equipment Manager – Scott Shaw
Scott has been working in the Fire Safety Industry since 2009 and has a wealth of knowledge regarding the type of equipment that is required in a building and where the equipment should be located.
He is qualified to enter a work site (OH&S Construction Induction White Card), has a Diploma in Business Management and is licensed with the Tasmania Fire Service and authorised to install and service all types of fire fighting equipment.
Scott has also been involved with the Building Industry through Trade and Retail Sales and Service for many years and this experience shows in his approach to ensuring buildings are as safe as they can be.
